Sustrans Volunteers

CycleStafford also co-ordinates the local Sustrans volunteer work parties.  Stafford has many cycleways and traffic free cycle routes. To help keep them pleasant and safe for cyclists this group of local volunteers regularly hold work parties to cut back vegetation, clear litter and maintain the routes - making it easier and safer for local cyclists to use them.

Next work parties:

10 & 11 July:  Isabel Trail Litter Pick
Sunday 10th, 10:00hrs meet by R-A-B on Doxey Road / entrance to Sainsburys car park

Monday 11th, 10:00hrs meet at entrance to The Haybarns, Beaconside end.

20 & 21 November: Isabel Trail Litter Pick

Sunday 20th, 10:00hrs meet by R-A-B on Doxey Road / entrance to Sainsburys car park

Please wear suitable clothing.  Tools, litter-pickers, bags etc will be provided but feel free to bring your own too.  Work gloves are also recommended.
